This two year old straight Bourbon imparts notes of vanilla, cinnamon and caramel that linger nicely on the tongue. The medium-char white oak barrels impart a sweet smokiness that is pleasant and reminiscent of American single malts although there isn't any barley in the mashbill. Atypical quality for a bourbon of this price. Slightly sweet, but not too sweet, so it'll make a great Manhattan or stand up to a little ice.
